Choose biotechnology grade Chelex 100 Resin, a weak cation exchange media, for chelation, DNA extraction for PCR, and other cation exchange protocols. Use this sodium-form resin for gravity or low-pressure chromatography.

1.   Medium-mesh resin is effective for both preparative and analytical protocols

2.   Selectivity for divalent over monovalent ions is approximately 5,000 to 1

3.   Strong attraction for transition metals, even in highly concentrated salt solutions

4.   Inactivates enzymes, including DNases, that require divalent cations for activity

5.   Certified to contain less than 100 microorganisms per gram
